By divine direction, Rev. Mark Asante Manu left Ghana with his wife for United States of America to continue his Godly call. He first served under Rev. Dominic Owusu at Bronx Assembly of God, in the Bronx.
In 2005 Pastor Mark Asante Manu took over the Church as a Lead Pastor and later as led by God changed the name to Upper Room Assembly of God and had pastored to date. As a visionary and mission conscious in the kingdom work, he has trained eight pastors and opened three churches: Center of Hope AG, Family of Christ AG and Shekinah Glory AG. His posture toward Kingdom advancement has given him access to travel to other countries spanning from America, to Australia, Europe and to Africa where he hailed from. He is the Treasurer of the Ghanaian Assembly of God Fellowship USA, Sectional Secretary of the Bronx, Manhattan and Westchester District of the Assemblies of God, and an integral member of the New York Ghanaian Pastors Fellowship. Rev. Mark Asante Manu is a Pastor of Pastors, a caring father, a loving husband and a faithful servant of God. He is blessed with a beautiful and supportive wife and a beautiful daughter Emmanuella Asante Manu.
